Why Do Maids Need a SingPass Account?

Having a SingPass allows domestic helpers to access various government portals and services that require a SingPass login. 

This can make it easier for them to manage their personal information, access government services, and stay connected with their employers.

1. Access MOM SGWorkPass app to quickly gain details about her work pass, validity period, and salary information etc.

Easy Online Singpass Application For Domestic Helpers

Applying for a SingPass is a straightforward process that can be completed in a few simple steps.

First, domestic helpers need to register for a SingPass account.

Fill out the registration form with details such as full name, NRIC or FIN card number, and issuance date of the work pass.

Once the registration is complete, domestic helpers will receive their SingPass and PIN mailers within four working days. 

This mailer will contain a unique SingPass ID and a one-time password that can be used to set up their SingPass account.

Setting Up Domestic Helper’s SingPass Account

With their SingPass and PIN mailer in hand, domestic helpers can set up their SingPass account using the SingPass Mobile App or the SingPass website. 

The recommended method is to use the SingPass Mobile App, which can be downloaded from the App Store.

To set up the app, domestic helpers need to launch the app, read the Terms of Use and Privacy statement, and tap “Okay” to proceed. 

They will then be prompted to log in with their SingPass ID and one-time password. 

After verifying their identity, they can create a SingPass password and a 6-digit passcode to complete the setup process.
