Here are some common questions we receive from employers.
New maid refers to those who have no experience working in Singapore before. Bee Lee can connect you with new maids from Indonesia or Myanmar. Find out how here.
The process of bringing a new maid into Singapore takes 1 – 2 weeks.
Transfer maid refers to maids who are currently employed in Singapore, and are looking to change employer for whatever reason.
Transfer Maids are already in Singapore, thus the process is faster and you can expect a transfer maid to arrive in 3 days upon confirmation.
Maids live inside their employer’s house.
Maids can sleep in their own designated rooms, or shared room with children or elderly. MOM also provide guidelines on domestic worker accomodation.
